Growing up on a farm, Maddie has been surrounded by animals her whole life.  As a child, her family had beef cattle, horses, pigs, chickens, dogs, cats, and a duck. Maddie Was in 4-H for 10yrs.

Prior to coming to FUAC, Maddie was enrolled in nursing school and decided she wanted to shift her focus and work with animals. As part of the FUAC team, Maddie enjoys puppy snuggles the most! 

Maddie shares her home with Goose, a Great Dane/Pitbull mix. Goose's greatest fear is the vacuum and being alone.  Goose loves to carry around his toys, swim, run super-fast, high-5 for cookies, and snuggle. Goose is a mama's boy (but he loves his dad too). Maddie also has a Red Morphed Bearded Dragon named Dale. Dale enjoys playing in the bathtub or basking on his hammock. His favorite treats are Dubai Roaches and blueberries. 

Missing from Maddie’s Virginia home is Elvis, her white duck. He lives on her parents’ farm in NY. He is "the king" of the barn (pun intended). His best friend is a chicken named Shania Twain. Elvis enjoys telling you all about his day (by quacking), playing in his pool, and going on walks around the farm. 

When she’s not at work, Maddie enjoys hiking/going on adventures with Goose her boyfriend, Logan. She also enjoys kayaking, horseback riding, and spending time with friends.
