Jared joined the Fork Union team in June of 2023, but previously had experience caring for animals through pet sitting. He received his bachelors degree in Biology from The University of Virginia and is hoping to be headed to vet school in the near future! His favorite part of his job is watching our patients go home happier and healthier every day.

Outside of work, Jared shares his home with his pit bull mix named Tuna. He enjoys basketball (both watching and playing!) as well as spending time with his friends and family - especially the furry ones!
