Grace

Before working as a veterinary assistant at Fork Union Animal Clinic, Grace discovered her passion for animals while being surrounded by dogs, cats, and horses growing up, as well as volunteering at horse rescues starting at 13 years old!

The most rewarding part of her job is being able to watch animals heal and flourish while giving clients the aid and peace of mind they need. Snuggles from patients are a bonus too!

Grace knew she wanted to work in the veterinary field her entire life. After volunteering at animal rescues throughout school, Grace graduated and obtained her associate's degree through SVCC. She pursued her passion and started training as a veterinary assistant. Working at Fork Union Animal Clinic has been more fulfilling than Grace ever imagined, and has compelled her to pursue her career, hoping to become a veterinary technician in the future.

Grace has a labradoodle/ labrador mix named Chico, and a leopard gecko named Slip. Chico is about 55 pounds, but that never stops him from curling up in her lap for snuggles!

Outside of life at the clinic Grace enjoys spending her time being outdoors, reading, spending time with friends and family, and playing with her sweet pets.
