Cary has always been involved with animals, from childhood pets (Socrates the border collie and Aristotle the cat), to assisting with behavior modification training during her work at the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA.  Joining the team at FUAC in 2019 just seemed like the next logical step. 

Her favorite part of the day would (obviously) be puppy and kitty snuggles…but really she enjoys the fact that every day is filled with different experiences.  She really loves being able to help out in a wide variety of areas around the clinic and learning something new every day.

Cary is currently studying to become a licensed vet tech and is excited to further expand her veterinary skill set.

Cary's newest canine addition is a scruffy 3-year-old terrier mix named Harvey who has decided that he likes her and her daughters much more than her husband, though little by little they are warming up to one another. 

When she is not working, she can usually be found playing with string (knitting, crocheting, sewing, etc.), singing and dancing (poorly), video and/or board gaming, or leading her daughter’s Girl Scout troop.
